Aryna Sabalenka’s historic hard-court dominance in 2026, including a near-perfect record and completion of the Sunshine Double at Indian Wells and Miami, anchors trader consensus for the US Open title on the fast hard courts at Flushing Meadows. Elena Rybakina sits close behind after claiming her second major at the Australian Open with a straight-sets victory over Sabalenka in the final, showcasing her powerful serve and baseline game that translate well to similar surfaces. Iga Swiatek’s early-season struggles, with just a 12-6 record and no semifinals reached, have widened the gap to the top two despite her strong overall ranking. Rising talents such as Victoria Mboko and Karolina Muchova add depth to the field, while Coco Gauff and others remain in contention on the demanding Grand Slam schedule where recent form and physical freshness often decide outcomes.
