The Valencia Challenger semifinal pits higher-ranked Spaniard Jaume Munar against rising Paraguayan Adolfo Vallejo on outdoor clay. Munar enters at ATP No. 38 with a 7-8 record in 2026 and recent first-round exits at Madrid and Rome, while Vallejo arrives at a career-high No. 84 after a 13-7 campaign highlighted by consistent Challenger results and strong break-point conversion. The pair has no prior head-to-head history. Home-crowd support and Munar’s greater experience on the surface represent key edges, yet Vallejo’s recent momentum and aggressive baseline style create realistic upset potential in this first-time clash. Both players appear fully fit with no reported injury concerns heading into the match.
