A June 2026 Recording Academy rule change raising the Best New Artist entry cap from three to four submissions restored eligibility for Ella Langley, who had already been entered three prior times. This adjustment, combined with her sustained 2026 chart dominance—including multiple Hot 100 entries and the country crossover single “Choosin’ Texas”—has established her as the clear market leader at 66% implied probability. Traders view her crossover momentum and historical precedent for country acts in the category as decisive advantages heading into late-2026 nominations. Contenders such as JADE, Sienna Spiro, The Beaches, and emerging names like Geese or Adéla sit well behind, reflecting narrower streaming or critical traction to date; upcoming album releases, chart updates, and precursor buzz through fall could still shift positioning before voting closes.
