With the 2027 Grammy eligibility window still open and Song of the Year contenders just emerging, trader sentiment reflects broad uncertainty across dozens of possible entries rather than a clear frontrunner. Olivia Rodrigo’s “drop dead” holds the slight edge among named options at 39.5% implied probability, followed closely by RAYE, Ella Langley, Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift tracks, all clustered in the high 30s. This tight spread underscores how early releases, streaming momentum, and critical reception have yet to consolidate support, while historical patterns show Song of the Year often rewards late-cycle standouts with broad appeal. Upcoming chart performance, major album drops, and precursor buzz through fall 2026 will likely shift these market-implied odds as the voting body narrows its focus.
