Puttergill/Smith face Jans/Visker in the Dublin ATP Challenger doubles draw on grass, a surface that rewards strong net play, quick reflexes, and serve-volley tactics. The Dutch pairing holds a clear edge in current doubles form and cohesion, with both Jans and Visker ranked near 193 and fresh off recent Challenger success that has stabilized their team ranking. Puttergill brings solid doubles experience with a career-high of 138, yet Smith’s primary focus remains singles (peaking at 244 in May 2026), potentially limiting the pair’s on-court synergy against established doubles specialists. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect the matchup, leaving the outcome dependent on grass-court adaptation and first-match rhythm in the early rounds.
