Brazil's preliminary 55-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, submitted by coach Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the final 26-player roster due later this month, highlights the intense competition across positions as the Selecao prepares for the tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Recent call-up patterns favor established European-based players like Vinicius Junior, Neymar, and Casemiro for their consistent form and experience, while emerging talents such as Endrick and Joao Pedro gain consideration based on club performances and age eligibility. Key variables include official injury updates affecting defenders like Eder Militao and Rodrygo, along with Ancelotti's tactical preferences for a balanced squad blending veterans and youth. Traders monitoring this market should track the Monday announcement and any last-minute roster adjustments driven by recent friendlies or training sessions.
