Iga Świątek’s proven dominance on clay keeps her at the front of trader consensus for the 2026 French Open, yet the field remains tightly bunched because Aryna Sabalenka’s raw power and improved movement have narrowed the gap on the surface. Coco Gauff’s steady clay-court gains and Elena Rybakina’s heavy serve create additional layers of competition, while Mirra Andreeva and Elina Svitolina sit close behind on the strength of recent form and head-to-head results. The spread across more than a dozen players reflects the depth of the women’s game on slow, high-bouncing courts, where small edges in fitness, draw position, and late-season momentum can shift outcomes rapidly before the tournament begins.
