Cobolli and Shelton enter the Halle doubles draw on grass after Shelton captured the Munich singles title with a straight-sets victory over his new partner in the final. Shelton’s powerful serve and aggressive baseline game align well with the fast surface, while Cobolli brings recent clay-court momentum and solid all-court movement. The third-seeded Pavlasek/Vavassori pair offers proven doubles chemistry and experience on European grass, with Vavassori’s net skills providing a stylistic contrast. As an unseeded pairing facing established seeds in the round of 16, trader sentiment reflects Shelton’s individual form against the opponents’ specialized doubles record and the inherent variability of early-round team chemistry on this surface.
