**Trader consensus heavily favors no change at the Bank of Israel's next policy meeting, with the 76% implied probability reflecting the central bank's recent 25 basis point cut to 3.5% in July and July 2026 CPI easing to 1.5%, comfortably inside the 1-3% target range.** Inflation has stabilized near the midpoint after multiple months below 2%, supported by shekel appreciation and moderating price pressures in housing, food, and transport. The Monetary Committee has signaled a gradual, data-dependent path, with one-year expectations also anchored near target amid subdued growth revisions and lingering geopolitical uncertainty. A modest 23.5% chance of a further 25 basis point cut prices in the possibility of additional easing if incoming data reinforce disinflation, while hike probabilities remain negligible given the current stance. The September 3 meeting serves as the key near-term catalyst.
