Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds a commanding lead in the CMA Single of the Year market at 69.5% implied probability due to its unprecedented chart dominance in 2026, including a record-tying 22 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and top ranking on the Songs of the Summer chart. The track, co-produced by Miranda Lambert, also secured Single and Song of the Year honors at the ACM Awards, bolstering its momentum ahead of the November 18 CMA ceremony. Other nominees trail sharply: Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo” at 8.5%, Langley’s own “Be Her” at 7.5%, Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” at 5%, and Cody Johnson’s “The Fall” at 4.5%. Recent nominations, announced September 10, confirmed this five-way field, with Langley earning dual nods and underscoring trader consensus around her breakout year.
