The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from EWC, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The EWC Chess Last Chance Qualifier features a competitive field of grandmasters vying for remaining spots in the 2026 Paris main event alongside CCT qualifiers and invitees. Recent schedule announcements highlight early action for players such as Daniil Dubov in Group B and Vladislav Artemiev in Group C, with group-stage and knockout formats emphasizing rapid and blitz time controls where current form, head-to-head history, and preparation matter most. Top seeds benefit from higher FIDE ratings and consistent circuit results, while underdogs can capitalize on upsets in shorter matches. No major withdrawals or roster changes have altered the field, though late momentum from prior online events could shift implied probabilities as rounds progress.
