Kyle Kirkwood enters the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix on the new 1.7-mile Washington, D.C. street circuit around the National Mall as the clear market favorite at 55.4% implied probability. His recent rebound from a costly crash in Markham, combined with six prior street-course victories and Andretti Global's strong setup on temporary circuits, positions him ahead of championship leader Álex Palou. The 147-lap, 250-mile distance and multiple expected cautions favor drivers with proven track-position management and tire conservation, areas where Kirkwood has excelled. Palou carries a large points lead but faces added variables on an unfamiliar layout with limited practice data, while Kirkwood's early-season Arlington win on a similar street course reinforces trader sentiment around his consistency in high-stakes restarts and long-run pace.
