Recent Israeli polls ahead of the October 27, 2026 Knesset election project Likud at 21–24 seats, a clear decline from its 32 seats in 2022. This positioning stems from sustained erosion of support tied to the judicial overhaul push, the security fallout from October 7 and subsequent conflicts, and internal party tensions ahead of Likud primaries. Gadi Eisenkot’s new Yashar party has emerged as a direct rival, frequently polling ahead or tied with Likud and drawing voters focused on security and governance alternatives. Netanyahu’s broader coalition bloc consistently registers below the 61-seat majority threshold in surveys from firms including Midgam, Kantar, and Lazar, reflecting fragmented right-wing backing and opposition consolidation. These polling trends underpin the strong trader consensus that Likud will lose seats.
