Both the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers enter this AL Central series well below .500, with the Twins at 30-38 and the Tigers at 28-39, leaving them chasing the division-leading Cleveland Guardians. Multiple starters remain on the injured list for each club, including key arms sidelined by elbow and forearm issues that have thinned rotations and bullpens alike. The three-game set at Comerica Park features recent form swings, with Detroit showing modest momentum in home contests while Minnesota deals with additional position-player absences. Weather and bullpen usage could factor into late-inning decisions across the matchup.
