Monday's overwhelming 98.8% market-implied odds for the most-viewed episode of Fox News' The Five during the week of August 10-16 reflect its consistent post-weekend audience carryover and stronger Nielsen sampling patterns that routinely push P2+ totals above 3.5 million. Cable news viewership data shows the roundtable format benefits from Monday momentum after lighter weekend competition, a dynamic reinforced across recent quarters where the program has dominated cable rankings. Other days cluster tightly around 3.1–3.5 million viewers, leaving little room for variance absent major breaking political stories, high-profile guest bookings, or end-of-week headline surges that could lift Thursday or Friday retention enough to close the gap.
