Ju Wenjun enters as the consensus favorite at 36% implied probability thanks to her status as five-time Women’s World Champion and prior success at Norway Chess Women, including the 2024 title and a strong 2025 showing. Defending 2025 champion Anna Muzychuk and rapidly ascending World No. 2 Zhu Jiner, making her debut after a breakout 2025, trade in a tight cluster around 19–20% as the double round-robin field in Oslo offers multiple contenders realistic paths. Bibisara Assaubayeva and Humpy Koneru sit just behind at 18–19%, buoyed by recent Candidates performances and consistent elite-level results, while young debutant Divya Deshmukh trails at 7.5% amid the competitive depth of the six-player lineup. The Armageddon tiebreak format adds decisiveness to every round starting May 25.
