Coventry City leads the market for last place in the 2026-27 Premier League at 57% implied probability following a winless start that includes heavy defeats to Arsenal and Hull City. The three promoted sides—Coventry, Ipswich Town, and Hull—dominate trader attention because historical patterns and pre-season models consistently flag newly promoted clubs for immediate relegation risk due to squad depth gaps and adaptation challenges. Hull’s early points haul has slightly eased its own odds, yet the overall field remains tightly bunched as established clubs face fixture congestion, potential injuries, and inconsistent form that can quickly drag any side into the bottom three. This dynamic leaves multiple outcomes clustered near 50% or below as the wisdom of crowds reflects the unpredictable nature of a 38-game campaign where small margins separate survival from the drop.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
