**Elite passing attacks and favorable schematic trends position multiple 400-yard games as likely in the 2026 NFL season.** Several quarterbacks posted 400-plus yard performances in 2025, including Matthew Stafford’s 457, Joe Flacco’s 470, and others from Justin Herbert, Bryce Young, and Russell Wilson, reflecting continued emphasis on volume passing and explosive plays. Entering 2026, offenses are shifting toward more under-center play-action concepts that boosted success rates and big plays leaguewide last year, with teams like the Rams, Lions, and Cowboys building on prior efficiency. New coordinator pairings, such as Ben Johnson with the Bears and Caleb Williams, plus schedule strength variations and early-season matchups against weaker secondaries, add upside for high-volume outings. Preseason results and final roster decisions will further shape early opportunities, though weather, injuries, and defensive adjustments remain variables.
