**Panthers' commanding 34-3 Week 2 victory over the Falcons, powered by Bryce Young's three touchdown passes, has shifted momentum in the NFC South rivalry.** Atlanta entered the matchup already at 0-1 with Michael Penix Jr. (knee) and Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) sidelined, forcing Cooper Rush into another ineffective start marked by turnovers and limited production. Carolina improved to 1-1 while extending its recent dominance, having won four straight against Atlanta. With the first game decided, the second matchup later this season will determine series outcomes—Panthers need only to avoid a loss to claim the series win outright, while a Falcons upset would force a tie. Trader consensus reflects Atlanta's persistent quarterback uncertainty and Carolina's offensive efficiency against a short-handed opponent.
