This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records more than 23 receiving touchdowns during the 2026-27 NFL regular season, thereby breaking the NFL single-season receiving touchdowns record. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL single-season receiving touchdowns record is 23, set by Randy Moss in 2007. Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must exceed 23 receiving touchdowns for this market to resolve to "Yes". Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. A player's total is the total he records across all of his 2026-27 NFL regular season games, including games played for more than one team. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player exceeded 23 receiving touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 50% implied probability on any player eclipsing Randy Moss’s 23 receiving touchdowns from 2007 reflects a closely balanced market heading into the 2026 season. Elite wide receivers such as Ja’Marr Chase, who has publicly targeted the mark and posted 17 scores in 2024, along with Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, benefit from high target shares and red-zone usage in pass-oriented offenses, yet recent seasons have seen league leaders top out at 14–18 touchdowns amid regression, injuries, and defensive adjustments. A 17-game schedule and quarterback health for key passers like Joe Burrow or Dak Prescott could elevate ceilings, while factors such as load management, defensive schemes prioritizing coverage on top options, or shifts toward run-heavy approaches create realistic barriers. Historical rarity of 20-plus touchdown campaigns underscores the competitive equilibrium reflected in current trader consensus.
