Grand Theft Auto VI holds a commanding 67% implied probability in the Game of the Year market, driven by its November 19 release timing that aligns perfectly with The Game Awards voting window and Rockstar’s unmatched track record for open-world epics. Trader consensus reflects sustained pre-order momentum and cultural anticipation that has kept the title as the clear frontrunner despite the game remaining unreleased. Resident Evil Requiem sits at 12.5% on the strength of its earlier launch, strong critical reception, and Capcom’s recent awards success, while lower-priced options like Phantom Blade Zero and Control Resonant trade in the low single digits amid a crowded 2026 slate lacking dominant precursors. Upcoming catalysts include GTA VI’s marketing push and the December ceremony, where historical voting patterns favor late-year blockbusters in a field analysts describe as competitive yet outpaced by Rockstar’s scale.
