Karan Singh enters this ATP Challenger Bengaluru 3 first-round match on hard courts holding the higher ranking at world No. 413 compared with Mitsuki Wei Kang Leong’s No. 634. The 22-year-old Indian has shown recent form with victories over Ryotaro Taguchi and another opponent in April, though he dropped a match to Sanhui Shin in mid-April. Leong, 21, brings a head-to-head edge after defeating Singh in their only prior meeting last year. Home-country support and familiarity with Indian hard-court conditions could provide Singh a slight edge in this low-stakes Challenger encounter, while both players remain early in their professional development with limited experience at this level. The outcome hinges on which player maintains consistency in baseline rallies and capitalizes on break opportunities.
