Stefanos Tsitsipas enters the Geneva Open clay-court match against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard as a late wild card coming off knee tendinitis that limited his early 2026 schedule. Both players hold similar records this season, with Tsitsipas at No. 75 and Perricard at No. 58. The tall Frenchman brings a powerful serve and aggressive baseline game, though his results on clay remain less consistent than on faster surfaces. Tsitsipas owns a stronger historical record on the red dirt and benefits from greater experience in ATP 250 events, but recent physical setbacks raise questions about his movement and endurance. No prior head-to-head exists between the two, leaving recent form and fitness as the primary factors shaping outcomes.
