Arizona Diamondbacks hold a 34-31 record, placing them second in the NL West, while the Miami Marlins sit at 31-35 in fourth in the NL East ahead of their series at loanDepot park. The D-backs have cooled recently, going just 3-7 over their past 10 games after earlier contention, whereas the Marlins seek to build momentum at home. Starting pitching matchups remain central, with Zac Gallen and others facing Miami arms like Max Meyer in games featuring strong career splits and recent workload trends.
