The New York Mets head to Cincinnati for a three-game series starting June 15 amid ongoing roster challenges, including multiple starters on the injured list such as Kodai Senga and Tyrone Taylor. The Mets have posted a sub-.500 record through early June and recently endured extended losing streaks marked by low run totals and high strikeout rates. The Reds, hovering near .500, enter the matchup with stronger recent offensive output and rotation depth despite key absences like Hunter Greene. Pitching matchups, home-field advantage at Great American Ball Park, and both clubs’ inconsistent form shape expectations for the series, with potential for weather or late lineup adjustments to influence results.
