The New York Yankees enter the upcoming three-game series at Comerica Park (starting June 22) with a strong 43-27 record and the AL East lead, though key absences including Aaron Judge (rib stress fracture), Giancarlo Stanton (calf), and Max Fried (elbow) have thinned their lineup and rotation. The Detroit Tigers sit at 30-42 and fourth in the AL Central, showing recent momentum with a win over the Astros but facing challenges in sustaining consistency against stronger opponents. Home-field factors at Comerica Park and potential bullpen usage could influence early outcomes, while the Yankees' depth and power hitting remain central to trader assessments of series or individual game probabilities.
