Western Bulldogs hold a narrow 51.5% implied probability in this AFL Wildcard Final at the MCG, reflecting closely matched records (13-9-1 versus 12-9-2) and recent inconsistency from both sides. The Dogs enter with momentum from a Round 24 win over Melbourne but carry forward-line concerns with Aaron Naughton doubtful due to an ankle issue and Tim English returning from knee trouble, while Collingwood regains Isaac Quaynor and Patrick Lipinski yet misses Scott Pendlebury (hamstring) and Brayden Maynard (knee). Nick Daicos continues to drive Magpie midfield output, countered by Marcus Bontempelli and potential ruck dominance from English. The Round 12 four-point Bulldogs victory and sudden-death format further balance the matchup, with any late fitness updates on key talls or midfield availability likely to shift trader consensus in either direction.
