Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" commands overwhelming trader consensus at 99.9% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100 dated August 22, 2026, driven by its unprecedented 17-week reign atop the chart through August 15. The country-pop crossover continues to post dominant multi-metric numbers, including record-setting streaming and airplay totals that have outpaced all competitors since its February debut. Recent history reinforces the lock: Morgan Wallen's "Been By Now" entered at No. 2 but remains blocked, while other high-profile releases from Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Olivia Rodrigo show minimal traction in midweek tracking. An upset would require an unprecedented late-week surge from a new single or catalog track to overtake its lead in the final days of the tracking period.
