James Wade enters the Australian Darts Masters quarter-final against Stephen Bunting after a standout 6-0 opening win over Tim Pusey, posting a 112.73 average with four 180s and a 164 checkout—the second-highest recorded in the event. Bunting advanced more routinely with a 6-3 victory. The closely matched implied probabilities reflect both players’ proven PDC pedigrees, strong head-to-head history, and capacity for high three-dart averages in best-of-11-leg formats. Wade’s current scoring momentum and finishing reliability provide the narrow consensus edge, yet Bunting’s consistency and experience in World Series events keep the contest balanced. Developments such as sustained checkout percentages, 180 frequency, or any short-turnaround fatigue from the Australian schedule could shift sentiment ahead of the match.
