Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high near 19°C for Cape Town on September 17 under clearing high pressure and strong southeasterly winds following earlier rain, positioning this as the market leader at 64.5% implied probability. Trader consensus favors 19°C or 18°C (21.5%) because current conditions—dry air, minimal cloud cover, and typical spring warming—align with historical maxima around 17–19°C while limiting upside to 20°C (8.0%). Official guidance shows low precipitation risk and stable steering patterns that reduce volatility, though minor model spreads in peak afternoon readings sustain small probabilities for adjacent outcomes. Updated runs closer to the date will refine these market-implied odds.
