Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 7, 2026, indicate a high near 89–92°F amid scattered thunderstorms, driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around the 88–93°F bins. Afternoon convection and associated cloud cover or outflow boundaries introduce variability in peak readings, with model consensus showing modest cooling from recent 92–94°F days due to increased moisture and easterly flow. Thunderstorm timing and coverage remain key variables that could suppress or allow higher readings, consistent with historical early-September patterns where diurnal heating often peaks before storms develop. Updated NWS model runs and afternoon observations over the next 48 hours will likely refine resolution criteria for this short-term temperature market.
