Cleveland Cavaliers hold overwhelming 94.8% implied probability in the Peyton Watson free-agency market after agreeing to a multi-team sign-and-trade that sends the restricted free agent from the Denver Nuggets to Cleveland in exchange for future draft assets and salary relief. Watson, coming off a career-high 14.6 points per game in 2025-26, will sign a four-year, $88 million deal with the Cavaliers that includes a player option and trade kicker, bypassing Denver’s financial constraints under the second apron. Recent reports confirm the expanded five-team framework also routes Max Strus to the Clippers. The only realistic paths to a different outcome involve the deal collapsing over final contract language or league approval, though all credible reporting indicates the agreement is complete and Watson is headed to Cleveland.
