This market will resolve in favor of the player on a Southeastern Conference (SEC) team that finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards among all SEC players. A player's conference is the football conference affiliation of his team for the 2026 season as recognized by the NCAA. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more rushing touchdowns during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of rushing yards per attempt during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026 NCAA FBS season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which SEC player led the conference in rushing yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 SEC rushing title race remains tightly bunched because a deep group of returning backs enters with comparable 2025 production and workloads across strong offenses. Kewan Lacy (Ole Miss) and Ahmad Hardy (Missouri) stand out after posting 1,567 and 1,649 yards respectively last season, though Hardy’s mid-September return timeline from offseason injury creates early uncertainty. Jadan Baugh, DeSean Bishop, Hollywood Smothers, Raleek Brown, Sedrick Alexander, and others like Jeremiah Cobb and Nate Frazier also logged heavy carries and efficient per-game averages, with supporting factors such as offensive line continuity, mobile quarterbacks, and favorable early schedules keeping volume projections fluid. Trader consensus reflects this parity, as small shifts in usage or team performance can quickly reorder the leaderboard.
