Trader consensus strongly backs “No” at 94.2% because Ashley St. Clair filed first for sole custody in New York in February 2025, citing Musk’s limited early involvement with their son Romulus, while the case remains unresolved nearly two years later. Public records show St. Clair as the primary caregiver amid ongoing disputes over support and an alleged NDA she says she rejected, and recent media appearances—including her role in the Alex Gibney documentary—have not altered court standings. Musk’s January 2026 public filing threat tied to personal disagreements has not produced a favorable ruling. A shift could occur only if future hearings or verified evidence of changed circumstances swing the outcome, though family-law resolutions in such high-profile cases often favor established caregiving arrangements.
