Carlos Alcaraz captured the 2026 Australian Open men's singles crown, driving the market's near-certain implied probability for him as winner. The world No. 1 top seed completed his career Grand Slam at age 22 by rallying past 10-time champion Novak Djokovic in the final, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5, after earlier five-set semifinal victories over Alexander Zverev and straight-sets dominance through the draw. His superior baseline power, movement, and mental resilience on hard courts aligned with recent form that positioned him as the clear favorite entering Melbourne Park. While the event has concluded and resolved the outcome, any unforeseen administrative review or scoring dispute could theoretically shift final standings, though none have materialized to alter the result.
