World No. 1 Jannik Sinner's unbeaten clay-court run in 2026, capped by a record-extending quarterfinal rout of Andrey Rublev at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, positions him as the clear trader consensus favorite against Daniil Medvedev in Friday's semifinals. The Italian home favorite, with 31 straight ATP Masters 1000 match wins since March including Monte Carlo and Madrid titles, showed brief physical strain mid-match but confirmed full fitness. Medvedev grinded through contrasting quarterfinals, rallying from a 1-6 first-set deficit versus Martin Landaluce before cruising past Thiago Agustin Tirante. Sinner leads their head-to-head 9-7, thriving on clay's slower bounce while Medvedev's baseline resilience offers upset potential in this ATP Masters 1000 clash.
