Digvijaypratap Singh faces Leo Vithoontien in the round of 16 at the Bengaluru 3 ATP Challenger on hard courts, where the Indian’s home-crowd support and recent hard-court experience could offset his lower ranking near 571. Vithoontien, ranked around 648 in singles but with a stronger doubles pedigree peaking at 317, arrives with momentum from a straight-sets 6-3 6-3 victory over Singh on the same surface last October. Singh’s recent form shows inconsistency, with a 3-7 record in his last ten matches across African challengers, while Vithoontien has maintained steady results in lower-level events. The fast hard-court conditions favor aggressive baseline play, and any fatigue from travel or prior rounds could influence serving percentages and break-point conversion for both players.
