This market will resolve to “Yes” if any Federal or State jurisdiction of the United States formally charges or otherwise announces a criminal indictment of Dalton Eatherly (known as Chud The Builder) between market creation and May 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. For the purposes of this market the District of Columbia and any county, municipality, or other subdivision of a State shall be included within the definition of a State. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from US governmental sources, however a wide consensus of credible reporting will also be used. Livestreamer Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder for his racially charged viral content and IRL streams provoking confrontations, faces near-unanimous trader consensus at 99.8% "Yes" after authorities formally charged him with attempted murder, aggravated assault, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment following a May 13 shooting outside Tennessee's Montgomery County Courthouse. Confirmed reports from WKRN, CNN, and The Washington Post detail his arrest and jail booking, solidifying market-implied odds amid his history of minor arrests like a restaurant bill dispute. With six days until resolution, upset scenarios remain slim—such as immediate self-defense dismissal or prosecutorial reversal—but hinge on rapid court filings absent new exculpatory evidence.
