James Wade enters the KenoGO Australian Darts Masters opener against qualifier Tim Pusey as the clear favorite at 72.5% implied probability, driven by his established PDC ranking near the top six and consistent checkout finishing under pressure. Wade’s recent form includes multiple victories in Players Championship and World Matchplay events, reflecting reliable leg momentum and experience against elite opposition. Pusey, an ADA Tour standout with strong domestic averages, benefits from home-crowd support in Wollongong but lacks comparable televised PDC pedigree, as shown by early exits in prior World Championship appearances. Without a head-to-head record, the matchup hinges on Wade’s superior match temperament and finishing percentages versus Pusey’s potential for early momentum on Australian soil.
