Sakatsume, 24 and on an upswing with a 19-13 record this season, holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge, including a March win, and boasts a stronger 2026 clay win rate around 67% from ITF events. No injuries or withdrawals reported; baseline rallies on outdoor clay could favor endurance, with Zhang's Madrid upset snapping a clay skid but momentum favoring the younger Japanese player's consistency.
