China's benching of world No. 1 Wang Chuqin in that tie underscores their depth for best-of-five singles format, historically yielding dominance despite the rare 26-year unbeaten streak snap. Momentum could tip toward Korea on continued hot form from Jang Woojin and coach Oh Sang-eun's tactics; full-strength China lineup with Wang or enhanced preparation might solidify their lead in knockout implications.
