Barrios Vera, a clay-court specialist with a strong 2026 record on the surface, advanced past local wildcard Sebastian Sorger 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 in the opening round yesterday, showing resilience despite travel from Chile. Neumayer, buoyed by his recent Barletta Challenger title three weeks ago and solid European clay form, cruised 6-1, 7-5 over Chun-Hsin Tseng in straight sets.
