Mikrut's recent Kigali Challenger run ended in a competitive R16 loss to Stefano Napolitano after defeating Jiri Forejtek, showcasing solid baseline play suited to the surface. The 22-year-old Croatian holds advantages in experience and local conditions over 18-year-old Engel, who exited early in Francavilla's R32 on clay to Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo following a win over Abedallah Shelbayh. No injuries or withdrawals reported; mild Zagreb weather favors steady rallies, tilting trader consensus toward Mikrut's edge in this evenly poised matchup.
