Nagasaki's league-best 47-13 regular season and 2-0 sweep of Alvark Tokyo highlight their offensive firepower led by Stanley Johnson, while Ryukyu (44-18) and Nagoya also swept opponents amid the Diamond Dolphins' defensive resurgence after late-season injuries. Chiba's gritty 2-1 comeback over Gunma Crane Thunders, powered by Yuta Watanabe and Nassir Little, underscores the depth and resilience keeping this championship race fiercely competitive with no standout favorite.
