If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Liga Nacional (Guatemala) for the 2026 season per the rules of Liga Nacional (Guatemala) (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Liga Nacional (Guatemala); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.In the early stages of the Apertura 2026, the Liga Nacional runner-up race remains wide open among a deep field of contenders. Antigua GFC leads the table with strong recent results, including a 3-2 comeback win, while Municipal sits just one point behind and San Pedro FC holds third. Traditional clubs such as Xelajú MC, Comunicaciones, and Cobán Imperial occupy mid-table positions with room to climb, and promoted sides like San Pedro add fresh competition. Upcoming fixtures, including Antigua versus Municipal, will shape momentum, but the balanced points distribution and lack of separation after nine jornadas keep implied probabilities tightly grouped as traders weigh form, head-to-head trends, and schedule strength across the full campaign.
