The Primera Nacional's 2026 campaign features intense parity across its zones, with no single side pulling away after roughly 24 matches per team. Leaders such as Ferro Carril Oeste and Deportivo Morón hold narrow edges in points and goal difference, yet Colón, Almirante Brown, Godoy Cruz, and several others remain within striking distance through consistent results and favorable recent form. The league's split-zone format plus the Torneo Reducido playoff structure spreads promotion and runner-up opportunities widely, allowing mid-table clubs to stay mathematically viable. Late-season fixture congestion, squad depth variations, and typical Argentine second-division volatility continue to compress probabilities across the broad field of contenders.
