With multiple tracks clustered near even implied probabilities, trader sentiment reflects a wide-open race for the Billboard Hot 100 #2 spot in the tracking week ending around August 23. Stella Lefty’s “Boston” holds the clearest edge among named contenders at 45.5%, buoyed by recent streaming momentum and crossover appeal, while Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” and Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” sit lower at 12% and 10% respectively amid strong but fragmented fan-driven plays. Country-leaning entries from Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley face radio and sales hurdles typical for the format. The deadlock hinges on final streaming and sales data drops, with any late promotional surges or viral moments capable of shifting the narrow margins before the chart locks.
