Aaron Funk and David Eichenseher, both 20-year-old Germans, meet in the second round of the ITF M25 Hurghada on hard courts. Eichenseher enters with the higher ATP ranking at 1213 compared to Funk’s 1443, reflecting a modest edge in overall experience and consistency on the circuit. Funk, however, arrives with stronger recent momentum after three straight wins in the event, including victories over Arjun Rathi, Amr Elsayed, and Thijs Boogaard. No prior head-to-head exists between the players. Both competitors have compiled limited professional results this season, making recent match fitness and surface adaptation in the Egyptian heat the primary variables likely to shape the outcome.
