Early in the Apertura 2026, multiple Liga MX sides sit near the top of the table with organized defenses that have produced early clean sheets, keeping the goalkeeper race wide open. Raúl Rangel leads with four shutouts for Guadalajara, while Carlos Moreno, José Antonio Rodríguez, Nahuel Guzmán, and others sit close behind after roughly eight matchdays. Strong backlines at clubs like Toluca, América, and Cruz Azul, combined with the full 17-match regular phase plus Clausura still ahead, limit any single keeper’s edge. Roster stability, fixture difficulty, and potential rotation or injuries further distribute probability across the field, reflected in the tightly clustered implied probabilities for the season-long leader.
