Several Liga MX sides enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable defensive foundations after the Apertura’s opening weeks, where Guadalajara, Club América, and Toluca each posted four clean sheets while León recorded three. Toluca and Guadalajara currently concede the fewest goals per match at 0.75, supported by organized backlines and in-form keepers such as Raúl Rangel. León’s market position reflects its historical shutout consistency and roster depth, while mid-tier clubs like FC Juárez show variance that keeps implied probabilities clustered. Fixture congestion, potential rotation, and the two-tournament format sustain the tight distribution among the leading group, with outcomes hinging on sustained defensive discipline and goalkeeper reliability across the full schedule.
